Pros

- It appears as if the top leadership really does care about making AppD a great place to work - Fully stocked kitchen with a ton of free food

Cons

- There is no strategy. There is talk about "strategic initiatives" but really all of the middle management "leaders" just chase the next shiny object which changes about every 3 weeks. This makes it hard to bring anything meaningful to the finish line. - There are very few good leaders. The rest do not know how to lead a team. AppD has been offering leadership courses. The courses are evidently are not helping. - Your job will surely change within weeks of being hired. And then change again every few months. - This is not a collaborative place to work. Very competitive - even within teams.

Thanks for taking the time to share your AppD experience. Your feedback regarding the fully stocked kitchen and caring top leaders is spot on. Making AppDynamics a great place for passionate people is at the heart of everything we do. I’m sorry to hear about your frustration with the company’s strategy. Since you are a currently employee, I hope you’ve shared your feedback in the recent Employee Engagement survey. We always strive to be better, and the results of the survey will guide many of the strategic decisions for the upcoming year.
