-My particular area in Texas is sort of a “boys club”.. if you know somebody or know something about somebody then you’re golden. (One guy was caught drinking and driving on the job but is still employed) -VERY little advancement, if you show your true value then you might have to stay in the position you’re in. -You have to be an external candidate to be hired in any position higher than an entry level position (My supervisor verbatim stated “You’re just gonna have to get more personal with the managers”) -Coworker is over a decade tenured merchandiser and was still deemed not qualified to move up to an Account Manager role (to an external candidate) -The raises are a joke and you will get some kind of “technicality” that will keep you from an EXCEEDS rating to get max raise -HR states your Excused or Unexcused absences are at the discretion of supervisor (if your boss doesn’t like you you’re done for) -You only receive communication when Upper Management is in town -Don’t call HR to report ANYTHING (your boss will retaliate)
