Despite lots of hiring and growth, teams are chronically under resourced because the only way to add headcount is to add more work, even if existing employees are already handling more than they should be. Seems to be common practice to just keep adding more and more onto an employee's responsibilities and seeing if they sink or swim. Toxic work environment that thrives on blame culture. Everyone is constantly trying to cover themselves so that if something goes wrong, they won't get thrown in front of the bus.
