Pros

- can work fully remote - met a couple really great people - if you work with the right people not an awful job

Cons

- you can work fully remote but people will harass you about going into the office for no reason and if you don't go in reflects poorly on you/your performance - employee politics is insane, if the wrong person doesn't like you they will fire you - very hostile work environment at their Cherry hill office. if you are not exactly like them they will gossip, bully and overall make you feel very uncomfortable. i wasn't even hired at their cherry hill office and they just moved me and those people made work unbearable and dreadful - pay is very low - unpaid overtime with 0 bonuses or incentives as an employee (even though the company is at record breaking profits) - you are nothing but a number here - if you ask to be switched to a different department or different clients they most likely won't do anything -emotional distress

Pros

Compensation is OK. There are some really nice people in the organization to work with, but you have to find them.

Cons

If you are not part of the SWC "club" (company name prior to them joining BDO), good luck. Poor leadership!!! Practice lead talks to everyone like they are talking to a CEO, not relatable in most cases. No clear employee development plans. You are held accountable for things completely outside of your individual control. They stress incorporating AI into work strategy, but have no plan on what that looks like or how to do it and want everyone to formulate it because leadership has no roadmap. One has no control over where you want to take your career, yet you are expected to know everything, about everything. As a result, you become an expert of nothing! Work assigned rarely leverages skills, almost as if they throw darts to see who works on what.
