Underdeveloped managers. Many Directors are not qualified for their positions. Beware of those managers who will chase you often to 'coach' and 'develop' you. They have no other skills to survive in a high-paced environment. Many medical team members have no industry experience and got inflated titles. They are rude and create a monopoly by not involving the right stakeholders in relevant meetings. They have the full support of the CMO who keeps it all a secret and creates stress for other functions. Politics is of low quality and if you would like to rise up, the insecure managers will not let that happen. These managers look forward to 'write-down' and build a case against you.
