      - senior leaders are focused on changing the organisation to meet the needs of the future - the pace is fast and there are opportunities to make a difference - communication is getting stronger - strong market position

      Cons

      - inevitable politics amongst leaders and their senior teams - all trying to find space in a new larger organisation - the pace can become too much very quickly - weak management skills after years of underinvestment in hiring and development

      Pros

      Plenty of opportunity to work on project teams. Lots of exposure to senior leaders in HR and the businesses. Great collaboration in the One BlackRock spirit. Benefits to support employees and their families are good.

      Cons

      Workload can be challenging at times. However, you are gaining a lot of new skills in a short prior of time and the ability to work with leaders is worth it.
