Pros
Work was highly collaborative and interesting. The culture and working environment was the most rewarding part of the part of the job. The IT to business relationships were exceptionally collaborative so that IT had an immense understanding of the business and their needs. Regardless of my position within in IT development, I always had a complete understanding and input into the big picture of how technology impacts the business. The IT vision was always business driven. The business tells IT what they want and what they need.
Cons
There has been a shift from business and technical knowledge of the business needs within IT such that the incredible business knowledge held by developers and data analysts within IT is slowly disappearing
