Pros

they have really good medical benefits, fmla, short term disability, vision, and dental, 401k matching worked with some great people

Cons

office politics high turnover very stressful environment employees doing the right thing are treated shabbily even though co policy is "do the right thing" work environment is very structured expect to get backstabbed by management watch out if you make a higher wage than entry level –they’ll find any excuse to get rid of you to save a buck (bonuses are hard to come by even if you qualify) they promote advancement opportunities - but not many see any wage is not median w/the rest of the USA or even locally

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
