Pros

Nothing positive comes to mind

Cons

When Connexus took over Global Response we lost large amounts of accrued PTO / Vacation time. They eliminated the health insurance and went to MEC (Minimal Essential Coverage) which equates to no insurance at all. It's the bare minimum insurance that they are required by law to offer their employees. It's a joke. Management got to keep their health insurance though. They also took away all the paid holidays that we had with Global Response. We had to use our PTO instead. The pay is horrible. There do not give cost of living increases. There are no raises. They expect most of their employees to survive on $12 an hour or less. This company cares nothing about their employees. The people that actually make them their money. Before you commit to them check out some job boards. You'll see most companies care about their employees and offer decent benefits and paid holidays. Stay far away from Connexus. Go somewhere where you'll be treated right.

Pros

Connexus gave me an opportunity when I felt like I was quickly running out of options. I've been with them for 5+ years and they haven't given up on me yet. I also love being able to work from home.

Cons

Working from home can be difficult when you try to connect with your team.

Pros

I've met and worked along side some pretty amazing people.

Cons

Pay rate does NOT match the amount of stress. Constantly being bounced from one campaign to another. Having to unlearn something you learn one week to relearn another. I was moved to a campaign that did not correlate with me skills at all. I asked to be transferred to another campaign for that very reason. I just wasn't getting it. I was told to wait until the ramp down (busy season ending). When the ramp down came I was laid off after 8 months and 2 campaigns later and just told to "reapply in 90 days", I was told it was for points from 1 day when I had to leave to get my son and a poor performance review after I stated clearly the campaign wasn't a good fit before the points and the review. The lack of concern for their current and former employees is also not worth the crappy pay. I would not recommend this job for anyone looking for stability or a solid career.
