Pros
The schedule is a good one when you are able to be on it for more than a couple of weeks and not being rotated to cover for other shifts.
Cons
The bonus program for the technicians is a joke. It incentivises them to bring each job up to standard each time a technician goes to a house no matter how sloppy the previous install was yet they are penalized for taking additional time on a job making the technician decide whether he wants to take the chance that he/she will be penalized for time, or not bringing the install to standard. The starting pay for the technicians is a joke and retention is horrible. From a management position it is hard to manage personnel. Substandard equipment in remote areas and routing is rediculous. The upper management at this company is so disconnected with their field services that as another reviewer stated, people at Dish are warm bodies. Too many hands in other areas, ie. home theatre, sound systems, tv mounts, screen cleaners etc...
