Pros
Experience working in large, Fortune 200 company. Quickly gain responsibility in most department. Work on projects that are significant and an important role. Dish doesn't put people on a project just so they "gain experience". Every teammember has significant responsibilities. I like this! In marketing, I meet and work with coworkers, vendors, and other industry affiliates throughout the television industry. Great networking. Coworkers generally care about their jobs and take pride in our work.
Cons
The pay is not up that great. That's why I sugest getting good experience at Dish and then moving on. Come to Dish and within a few years you'll make manager, and early than you would at other companies. Take the experience, and then go to another company and make more money. A lot of my coworkers in the marketing department have done that and they say that the experience at Dish kickstarted their careers. I'm thinking about doing the same.
