Pros

Average salary Good health benefits. Flexible sick time.

Cons

TSO - technical services If you are in Pharma : project management or otherwise- stay as far away from DPS as possible. You have two options in technical services at DPS. To be a 1099 or a salaried employee with benefits. DON'T be fooled. There is truly no difference between the 1099 and salaried W2 with benefits. They'll tell you that if your assignment/s go south they always have something for you to do. It is a lie. Technical services operates like a staffing firm or recruiter. It's not true that they will find you something if a client job stops or doesn't work out. They denigrated and treated many people poorly when things tanked during Covid in 2020. They did massive layoffs - kept hiring from external rather than move capable people they already had on board to other areas. Letting highly capable degreed professionals be laid off whilst hiring people from outside and brining in interns. If you are looking for a career move and you're in project management or Pharma - run in the opposite direction. They're not true to their word nor ethical to a standard that matches expectations. Additionally: If you are working with a client and the client is not open / has a corporate holiday they require you to use your VACATION TIME to cover it and be paid. They do not disclose this upfront. Overall: If you are a professional with more than 10 yrs experience and have aspirations of growth - this is not the place you want to be.
