Pros

You can learn about sales operations and inside sales management. Being at Dell shows you what "tough" business is all about.

Cons

Most of the time, it's "toughness without a reason". The company worships wall street target beyond all reasons and sometimes - due to the minute-to-minute visibility of sales reports from Dell's direct sales structure - that can create huge pressure especially around quarter ends. Dell isn't a company that has the time to stop and think about things about people, recognition or faireness.

Very helpful and knowledgeable community, incredibly easy to talk to anyone in any part of the business. Gave me a wide range of experiences/projects.

Cons

Limited intern bonding opportunities when compared to Round Rock office.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
