Pros

The pay is great and it’s easy to get in front of customers with such a big name like Dell behind you. I’ve had great success hitting my number and making a lot of money. That is until the recent changes.

Cons

Nothing is ever constant your accounts will change every six months. They tell you to run all the sales plays no matter what your territory is like not taking into consideration that each territory is different. Every month there’s a new focus on a new product. Leader ship changes every year if not more I’ve had 4 managers in 2 1/2 years. I’ve had three territories in 2 1/2 years.

Very helpful and knowledgeable community, incredibly easy to talk to anyone in any part of the business. Gave me a wide range of experiences/projects.

Cons

Limited intern bonding opportunities when compared to Round Rock office.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
