Pros

Having worked in several different teams in Deutsche Bank in London I can honestly say that it is a very meritocratic environment. Sure the hours can be long and there are difficult characters to deal with (that's banking!) but generally if you are good, and work hard, then you are rewarded.

Cons

Nothing that couldn't also be said about other companies in the industry. Deutsche does perhaps struggle with whether it wants to be a dynamic, flexible organisation vs being a company that dictates standards. However the balance is better than another bank I have worked at where the fixation on process was bodering on becoming a liability.

Pros

Annual raises and variable bonuses, Hybrid schedule, kind people, lots of events for making connections

Cons

Difficult to get an interview unless you have a referral. Otherwise not really any cons, I’ve only been here for a year so can’t really speak yet to any hindrances that might come when trying to get promoted, etc.
