As long as you deliver above average you get away with a lot which allows a fairer work life balance. Working with a few very clever people who can be extremely good to work with.
Cons
Full of long term employees who rely on internal contacts to massage themselves into right position. Some very clever people struggle to deliver against the tide of politics and passengers that only do what they have to do to keep their boss happy rather than help the general company try to improve in a more matrix way
