Pros

Flexible Work Options Hybrid and remote work flexibility in many locations; work-life balance is generally good, especially in non-client-facing roles. Open and Transparent Culture Flat hierarchy with open communication channels. Leadership is often approachable, especially in technical teams. Focus on Innovation Encourages use of modern tech stacks, R&D, and experimentation. Good for engineers who like to stay on top of trends. Employee Recognition Regular feedback and recognition programs to reward high performers.

Cons

Workload and deadlines can be intense depending on the client and project. Some projects may require overtime. Limited Onsite Opportunities (India-specific) Compared to service giants like Infosys/TCS, EPAM has fewer onsite opportunities, especially for mid-level employees in India. Slow Internal Mobility Changing projects or verticals internally can be a slow process and sometimes difficult without strong manager support.

Pros

Interesting projects, high tech standards and internal knowledge sharing, and a rich representation of all possible Slavic accents.

Cons

Engineering-first culture results in obnoxiously fragmented internal tech platforms because errybody wants to build it themselves. Not a big deal, just engineers doing what engineers will do.
