Generally speaking, benefits are fair at best. Compensation is below market value.
Specifically speaking on behalf of the IT department, it can't get much worse. The systems are old, slow, and unstable. Still dealing with the incompetencies of the major outsourcer of technology. Upper management (interim CIO, and most VPs/directors) do not care for the people, and they will yell at and verbally abuse employees. No one trusts these people anymore. The environment and culture is one of distrust. There is no work/life balance as project teams are forced to work weekend after weekend, and many evenings. This culture starts from the top and works it way down. I would not recommend working for this company, especially in IT.
