      Elon is very strategic and there is a great opportunity to network and explore/ pursue professional development.

      Cons

      There are a lot of committees and outside work for this type of job, which doesn't allow for much of a work-life balance, but this isn't new to the higher ed field.

      Working for a University means generally lower pay, but more stability. Benefits are quite generous.
