There were a lot of things my friends were able to do, like travel or enjoy certain experiences, that I simply couldn’t afford at the time. I know it’s different for people working in other countries or in different circumstances, but for someone living in the U.S., it hasn’t always been easy. Still, I’ve stayed because I believe in what we’re building and the long-term vision, even if the path hasn’t always been comfortable.
