Company culture is something that really needs work. Instead of focusing on solving problems or providing advice, they’re more about ensuring you understand what you did wrong and throwing you completely under the bus, they give emotionally inappropriate "feedback" with a punitive approach. The metrics aren’t based on real performance and a lot of the time, they have bugs that can't be tracked properly. It is a constant harassment to meet the no-sense metrics if not you will be placed in a PIP. I kept asking my managers for clear answers, but they never had any logical response to explain why "metrics" behave that way. Ongoing training is super important, but it’s not something they focus on here. Every PM will try his best with the resources they have and most of the time is out of their hands but no one cares in the end it will be your fault. There’s a lot of employee turnover in the PM role, they let go of good and loyal workers. Lack of balance, even though they have priority hours, they expect you to answer the phone and messages from 7 AM to 8 PM if not you are tagged as unresponsive. You work nights and on leave time off, but in the end, all this sacrifice is useless. Career opportunities are minimal, and there is a lot of favoritism among managers.
