Pros
Decent health benefits, above average vacation/sick policy and good pay. Training and advancement opportunities are sometimes available.
Cons
Health benefits have consistently gone down in quality and increased in costs. Still above average compared to most others but will become bellow average or worse if trend continues. Training for potential advancement is usually available but most employees in support roles will have to fight to have access to it and to be given time to take it. Certain departments / employees are woefully ineffective in their duties but since they have consistently set the bar so low with their past work they are rarely ever held accountable for the poor performance even if numerous complaints are made about it. In some situations due to complaints, a low performing employee will be laterally moved or promoted out of the their roll which is demoralizing to everyone else.
