Pros

We all need job. We need to put food on table. Economy is not where it needs to be and many other issues.....if you need a job and FedEx Office offers you one, take it but do not stop looking for much better opportunities out there.

Cons

Kinkos roots (Currently known as FedEx Office) goes back to the humble beginning in 70’s next to the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara. The company was found on premises of treating workers as family and many of the original workers became also the investors in the company. Prior to 2000 Kinkos was sold to a private equity Investment firm and finally February 2004 Kinko's was bought by FedEx for $2.4 billion and then became known as FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Centers. On 2008, FedEx Office recorded a charge of about $891 million to change the name of FedEx Kinko's stores to FedEx Office. Why tell the company history? Because it is important to know where it is coming from and where it is today at. There were three different culture changes here: individual owners & family way of thinking; investment firm which had the goal of growing the business as quickly as they can and selling it to FedEx, a company with a military culture and mentality (not to mention that FedEx is %1000 anti-union and it is structured in such a way that employees cannot organize national union). FedEx is a company that is master in playing political hard ball very well (2009: FedEx could cancel contracts for $6.7 billion in American-made planes if Congress makes it easier for unions to organize the delivery giant's workers.) and all that translate in to more work and less pay. There are more to talk about it but I just leave it at this. Your patient will be tested.
