Pros

Cultivating great professional skills such as time management, multi-tasking, leadership, computer skills (some Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign), customer service, professionalism.

Cons

Work / Life balance is tricky at times when you work at a busy center. I worked at about 5 stores over a combined total of 8 years and I noticed at the busier centers they were always needing help and asking people to work overtime. On the other hand if you work at a slower center you still cultivate great skills get paid the same and have a less hectic workday. Make sure to visit the center you are thinking of working at before you decide to work there.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
