Pros

Loved the work and most of the customers. Always moving because it was basically 3 jobs in 1. (Printing/ Shipping/ Self-service Retail) Would have stayed but life and it was taking too long for the district manager to retire...

Cons

Need to have patience. Customers can be trying because they don't understand FedEx is like 4 different companies (Office, Freight, Ground, Express) and you really don't have answers for any other company but yours and even then you don't have a lot of answers for customers. Management is the ABSOLUTE WORSE. Store managers great! District managers and up don't ask or depend on them for anything! Cuustomer You are overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. A raise would have been better then a bag of chips and a bingo game. I had to "FIGHT" to get the raise I did. Corporate management will lie straight to your face. (Happened twice and I started keeping my "receipts") There really isn't room to grow. Unless you are willing to relocate.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and supportive team environment. Gained strong customer service and communication skills while helping with printing, shipping, and handling different types of orders.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement since you often have to wait for someone to leave before moving up.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
