Pros
Everyone I worked with at Mazars was so nice and helpful, and I had great experiences there with coworkers and also with clients. I learned an incredible amount, and it's given me the knowledge and confidence for other opportunities after I have left. The pay was competitive, and I was always happy with my raises and bonuses. Also compared to Big 4, we did not work as many hours. During busy season typically 6 days a week roughly 60 hours a week, which comparatively is great compared to some of my friends in big 4. And I got great experience with big, well known clients and still competitive pay.
Cons
Long hours, but if you are looking in public accounting... what do you expect. When I worked there there was little flexible work options, but with the pandemic I understand they have gotten much better and more understanding.
