Pros

I unfortunately do not have anything good to say about former Sitel.

Cons

I worked here for five years, last two were the worst ones of my working life. I had an abusive manager that would refuse to treat us as colleagues. Instead we would get to the office and get pushed continuously, and not getting amy encouraging words at all. This manager had zero social skills. When confronted with feedback about this, she would ignore it. The first time this was reported to HR, I was told she was receiving a lot of pressure from her superiors, but this did not change her attitude. It got even worse. A year passed and she was still allowed to treat us poorly. I had to quit a company I genuinely liked to work in because of their incompetence to treat their agents properly. They also do not see us as people but as numbers. Unacceptable.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
