Global exposure, different markets, clients, and people. Very intelligent Front Office employees who are very open and great to work with. Looks amazing on your CV and great to bring up at dinner parties...
Cons
Office politics and a very top-heavy structure. People are rewarded based on how much they are liked rather than how intelligent they are. Moving out of Operations is a strict no-go (even CFA participation raises eyebrows). Underpaid, overworked relative to the overall industry. Key dependency on offshore office which destroys client service.
