Pros
Just the Net Salary which is a little above the average salary in Mexico. There is absolutely no other PRO that I can think of.
Cons
Lack of resources both from a human and infrastructure standpoint. The building where I work lack of proper evacuation exits/protocols so during the last Sep 19th earthquake my floor begun evacuating 20 minutes AFTER the earthquake had passed. Even lack of enough WCs per floor (2 WCs servicing a 300-employee floor) so bathrooms seem like meeting rooms. You will have to work extra hours daily and in some cases leave the office at 3 or 4 am, taxi expenses on you own. Working on weekends is not rare, of course with no extra hours paid at all. There is absolutely lack of leadership, bosses yield at you, put you down and insult you in front of everyone. The worst toxic work environment I have ever experience by far. You normally work under threat of being laid off. Disrespectful manners is very common even from subordinates. Grupo Salinas commits illegal actions such as not providing a copy of your contract or not providing legally tendered pay stubs...among other labor violations, in fact GS companies are among the most sued companies at PROFEDET...search and see for yourself .... I could be writing hours and hours about more CONS of this nasty group but in summary stay away from Grupo Salinas or its affiliates : Elektra, Total Play, Banco Azteca, UPAXER, TV Azteca, etc.
