Pros
Management was great. Team was amazing to work with. Benefits where somewhat competitive. And company offered plenty of flexibility. I enjoyed my time there for the most part.
Cons
No room for growth. As is when your part of a contract your negotiated into a price and and essentially need to fight to make even the smallest of raise. There are no real bonuses and I don’t like their overtime policies. I don’t like that the company offers incentives at the start but do not pay the money till receipt is provided. They aren’t upfront about details making things a very big mess when you accept the offer. And as always you aren’t a real permanent employee, but rather a employee of the contractor. Meaning your employment relies solely on the length of the contract and if it gets renewed. The second the client says no you better start looking for a job. Because once the end date is established you will lose your job as well. You are essentially a expendable employee. They use you until they don’t need you then they get rid of you. But again this is the same with pretty much any other contract related job.
