Pros

A tremendous number of excellent people in the working ranks. Loads of talent, and a lot to learn about large scale and how to make it run if you're part of the right team.

Cons

Many penny wise and pound foolish decisions being made every day. Executive management doesn't really understand that in a services business the first and foremost thing is having people that can deliver. Decisions such as firing all the work-from-home workers to improve "collaboration" when HP was the one that sent them home by closing their offices doesn't inspire people to provide service excellence. You get service excellence by treating people honestly and fairly, make decisions that make sense that they understand, and compensate them appropriately when they do provide that excellent service you desire.

Hi there! Thank you for your review and for your feedback! We appreciate your pointing out that we have a lot of talented employees and that there is a lot to learn here, especially coming from someone who had your tenure. I noted your advice to management and the cons. Although I don't think that this was the experience for most of our employees in services in HP Inc., I appreciate your opinion. ~ Madalina, Employer branding & digital media

Pros

Good working culture. It falls a little prey to acting like we're a family and not a business, but at least it doesn't pretend "we work hard, we play hard".

Cons

ELT and upper management have zero vision for the company besides desperately trying to pull up stock prices. Company continues to make deep long-term sacrifices for short term gains, that barely rise above the performance of our competitors. Benefits weaken each year. Example: CVS Caremark now handles RxD insurance, and CVS Caremark is incompetent and exploitative.
