The company was recently split in half (HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise). The split has created an opportunity to focus the HP Inc. more on its core competencies, given it the flexibility to react faster to the marketplace, and opened the door to do things differently.
Cons
Managing change is always challenging. It will take some time to completely understand how the new found freedom of being an independent company will play out in the day-to-day operations of the business.

Hi there and thank you for diving into our company culture! It's nice to see you are feeling this way. ~ Madalina Antohe, Employer brand and digital media
Good working culture. It falls a little prey to acting like we're a family and not a business, but at least it doesn't pretend "we work hard, we play hard".
Cons
ELT and upper management have zero vision for the company besides desperately trying to pull up stock prices. Company continues to make deep long-term sacrifices for short term gains, that barely rise above the performance of our competitors.
Benefits weaken each year. Example: CVS Caremark now handles RxD insurance, and CVS Caremark is incompetent and exploitative.
