Pros

Great company culture, at least on paper. Sensibleand flexible working hours. Salary and bonus scheme make sense, and are transparent. Products are of high quality and therefore easy to sell. Top-notch building and IT infrastructure. Global presence and open to relocating for career advancement. Generally competent, professional and motivated people. Looks good on the CV, as long as others know what Hilti is (however, most do not).

Cons

Within each BU, one or two culturally-incompatible managers end up having too much influence. The HQ location is socially a death trap. A few people in HR are unprofessional and treat people like pieces of a puzzle. Sometimes zero flexibility in terms of career steps. Too many ex-consultants being promoted without actually having achieved anything in practice, and with no apparent execution skills or people management. Lots of talk of diversity and inclusion, but that's mostly in terms of passport and phenotype. See also point above: too many ex-consultants fill the senior ranks, hired by ex-consultants who are now increasingly in senior management roles. Too many outdated processes and management styles, e.g. in software development and launch. The company is too proud, and unwilling to listen to employee feedback. Some locations are "untouchable", even though causing massive issues for productive collaboration.
