      Great company to work on - Finance Manager Hilton Employee Review

      Pros

      You get to work in a friendly environment, and there are a lot of promotions and advance opportunities within the company. Also, they usually promote internal candidates which is good.

      Cons

      Like in most of the hotel companies, you need to be willing to relocate from time to time in order to advance in you career. Salaries are not very competitive compared to other industries.

      Pros

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
