      Pros

      Opportunity for advancement is good and if you're willing to work around the clock, you can contribute something significant.

      Cons

      Work life balance is awful and management is done by checklists. There is a lack of creative vision that permeates the organization, which is exemplified by Hilton's mimicry of other leading hotel brands.

      Pros

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
