      Pros

      Great travel benefits. A feeling that you are cared for as an employee. They want you to have a personal life and not just a work life. Fairly easy to transfer locations if you work for a property that is owned and operated by corporate.

      Cons

      The salary is not as high as other industries and some other organizations within the same industry.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
