Pros

Team Member Travel Program, Starbucks, flexible work options, generous PTO

Cons

Hilton used to have an amazing culture but that culture has been fading fast over the past year. The collegial culture that was our hallmark is being replaced by politics and gamesmanship and it’s killing morale. Senior management talks about aligning and reducing priorities but the opposite seems to be happening and morale is suffering as teams are stretched too thin to be successful.

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
