      Pros

      Lots of upward mobility, many different locations worldwide. You will definitely learn the hotel business working for Hilton and can go anywhere with that experience.

      Cons

      Long hours are expected, not much time off. That is the price that you pay for the experience that you get working there.

      Pros

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
