Pros
Management staff is supportive. You have a lot of freedom and control to make guest's stays more enjoyable. There is room for advancement if you prove yourself a valuable employee and aspire to do more.
Cons
It's always open, so you could work early/late and holidays/weekends. Guests, like customers anywhere, are demanding; therefore if you don't have great customer service, a hotel wouldn't be the job for you.
