Pros
Aggregate Industries are very focused on developing their young and new colleagues, for instance through the graduate scheme and higher apprenticeship scheme. There will always be the possibility of either a training course, getting out to see another site or learn about a different area of business and this adds great variation to the job as well as benefiting your development. If you are willing to put the work in there will always be rewards available to you and the mentor scheme means that your hard work doesn't go unnoticed at any point. Working on a site means that there is also variation in the day-to-day work, with some desk based work and some hands-on work every day. This also allows you to see and solve the typical problems that any site may have.
Cons
There are long working hours and this should be accounted for, however, as mentioned previously, rewards are there for those willing to put in the work.
