Pros

Wonderful team here at J.P Morgan and amazing Learning and Development opportunities. As a newcomer they have learning modules for you to learn how to do the role of a presentation specialist, which you can always look back on if ever feeling stuck. Also everyone here is mature and friendly. Having a previous toxic workplace with awful management and bullying, working here is like a breath of fresh air. There are also networking and social events with the team which are really fun. No micromanaging here either and you feel appreciated as an employee.

Cons

The shift hours for a presentation designer are currently 4-12am which are hard to change out of. You get free uber home but this is the only downside as we are not working normal 9-5 and it is hard to manage your work life balance with these hours. Also when I first joined the company there were talks about the CEO wanting to scrap WFH opportunities and return to office 5 days a week. His video of him having an outburst went viral over social media and it gives a really bad impression seeing the CEO as egoistical and close minded as he is taking WFH away from us for no good reason other than him not liking it... very disappointing these are the big bosses.

Pros

The team was supportive and willing to answer questions. I gained practical experience in industry research, financial analysis, Excel, and data organization while working on real projects. Managers provided helpful feedback, and the internship was a good opportunity to understand how research and analytical work is completed in a professional environment.

Cons

Some assignments could become repetitive, especially data cleaning, database updates, and reviewing large amounts of information. Deadlines could also be tight during busy periods. Because the internship was relatively short, interns sometimes had limited ownership over longer-term projects.
