1. JLR is a good place to work, but not in all department. I did not enjoy the role in Quality Operation department, as lots of uncertainty on this role and direction changes every time. I was always worried about my future especially prior to new financial year.
2. Lots Manufacturing operators promoted to Engineering role, are not really qualified for the job. An Engineering Graduate spends more than 4-6 years to gain engineering degrees, however, in JLR a manufacturing operator get promoted to engineer without engineering knowledge-it is a shame to work with them as shoulder to shoulder. This in balance situation unskill engineer is not good for nothing and not good for JLR.
