Pros
Company has grown to a great international footprint. Possibilities for transfers and promotions are possible.
Cons
Company is highly critical of productivity through metrics and continuous improvement, to the degree its oppressive to the employees. Promotion opportunities have all but vanished unless you are pre-selected for a certain position. I've seen less experienced under grads get positions ahead of senior employees with adequate experience to promote. Very discouraging and a huge reason I am no longer employed there (after 23 years). This is the "good ol boy" network others refer to. HR is resilient to employee issues. The company in its early years was expanding, super profitable and a acquisition tyrant. A good place to be. Not so much these days as the economy has cooled.
