Pros

* Great place to begin your entrance into the work force especially for teens/high school students; * Learn and develop invaluable work ethics for your future career (ie importance of punctuality, etc) * Develop time management skills often lacked in students which do not have a part time job during school, as you are obliged to organise your weekly planning to ensure all obligations are met. * Excellent branding on your resume and the training is recognised nationally and globally.

Cons

* Very fast paced/stressful work which may be difficult to get used to; * Expect a lot of cleaning and hard work before management can trust you to perform more complex tasks; * Management can be very "gray" in transparency whilst conducting performance reviews and is often biased towards job allocations; *Promotion is very much subjective towards your rapport with management and experience and caliber is often overlooked in this process (this is particularly true in privately owned/franchised stores) * There is a strong correlation between owners and managements' friends/family with promotion positions.

Pros

Good first job but don't stay for more than 2 years unless you get promoted to a manager.

Cons

Job has low pay. Won't give you raises unless they promote you, you are treated the same as a new hire even if you have 2 years of experience. Crew members have no say in anything, they claim when you become a crew trainer your opinion matters.
