Has become way worse - Software Engineer Mercado Libre Employee Review

Has become absurdly bureaucratic. They're asking for 2x the delivery but you can't even deploy during the day. All deploys need approval from your leader two levels up (so your boss's boss). If you get a critical project, hope you like unpaid 4AM deploys everyday and week-long on-calls, also unpaid. No growth path either. You could grow years ago in this company but not anymore. I cannot wait to leave. The new management are running this to the ground. If you feel the app has become worse it is because the development has gone to the trash too because of the bureaucracy.
