Pros
1) Decent benefits. I realized how great Metlife health and 401K benefits were when I started working for another employer. 2) Good work life balance...Except the last couple of weeks leading to a release.
Cons
1) Works in silos. Very difficult to understand what each group does. For eg, as a developer, I did not get a clear understanding on what the deployment team does while deploying my software. 2) Very difficult to introduce new tools and technologies.
