The company is so bad at marketing it’s sad. It won’t get with the times. Cold calling and direct mail does not work. Seminars do not work. Nobody wants to talk to a Financial Advisor unless they have a CFP and have been in the biz for 20 years. Even then, they won’t want to talk. There’s no way a new financial advisor can meet Morgan Stanley’s sales targets, I don’t care how good of a salesman you “think” you are. Just don’t do this job, especially if you have a family. you are destined to be miserable.
