Pros
Very little pros to working with Morgan Stanley from my experience, although their will be plenty who have pros. My experience was awful and having worked in Investment banking roles the so called culture of support and inclusion is a joke. Cafe and a Gym if you ever get time???
Cons
Manager that recruited me into the area spoke to me on 2 occasions in the 1st 3 months and yawned continuously during each conversation. Then continued to ignore me and team, having the the gall to then provide negative feedback at Mid Year, despite clearing a 90Bn dollar cash/stock break reconciliation. No Goal setting no clear objectives. Staff were under trained in the product and no training was offered on complex processes. I had a Graduate in the team I joined leave during their period, due to being so unhappy. An associate left due to lack of support from the Manager when he lost his Mother. Finger pointing, misogynist behaviour, swearing and bias. Quote "If they don't want to be here they can just leave, we don't need them" After a 1 1/2 years I received a call whilst working at home, no discussion, no performance management etc just my so called ED reading off a piece of paper telling me I was at risk and telling I could not contact anyone within Morgan Stanley except the HR contact provided, they treat you with such disdain and disrespect it was almost like being in a nightmare. Having worked for over 40 years, never have I been treated with such utter contempt.
