Pros
Great bonus and perks from company paid lunch to overall benefits.
Cons
Not sure if the following is only applicable in Canada. Morgan Stanley (MS) separated between vacation time and vacation pay. They will only pay the vacation based on the minimum 4% of your earned salary which is what's on the Employment Standard (ES) of where I live. That said, even though I still have an unused earned vacation balance, MS declined to pay the balance because the vacation that I have used is already more than 4% of my earned salary. To make things worse, what MS did by separating vacation time and pay is not against the ES. That said: 1. If by the time you quit (or maybe even when they fire you but I'm not sure on this one), you have yet used any of your vacations, then, MS will only pay up to 4% of your earned salary. 2. If by the time you quit, you already used more than 4%, but still have a remaining balance (which you have already earned), then, MS will NOT be paying you the balance. Therefore, make sure that you use ALL of your earned vacation before you quit!!!
