Pros
Good colleagues, close knit team work from office hybrid 3/2 days can be a con for you. Breakfast, lunch dinner provided in office at very subsidised rate. Lenient policy on leaves.
Cons
Old tech, mostly it requires you to be skilled in their business and daily activities rather than tech, people invest more time in knowing business how it impacts the firm and team rather than in tech, tech wise if you know one language it is enough rest you can learn on the go all your superiors will be doing the same often implementing solutions to problems from scratch rather than using existing software due to budget and confidentiality constraints (might give you chance to learn this stuff from scratch instead of just using some tailor made solution). Offices space is pretty bland and boring, there are workstations on each desk, no provision of laptop, work hours stretch late in evening till 9 o clock since workday starts around 1 in the afternoon, this kills the entire day, the only thing after office is sleeping. Layoffs will be there for extremely low performers. Management is manipulative, they will keep you happy if they want to somehow. Flattery and bootlicking abounds the workplace and is the norm since you don’t have to be technically smart, you have to be business smart, and that comes with rubbing yourself around seniors. Avoid if thats something you can’t do.
